OH! Is that quantitative easing or inflation? It's all getting very confusing these days...

crikey! never has a gun caused so much controversy, I didnt see loads of people grumbling when the mp40 came in at a paltry 230-ish...... most TM guns are less than this and they cost a LOT more, the thompsons are overpowered - noone complains about that (unless youre being shot in the face - again
), in fact most of the chines guns are vastly overpowered compared to their stated velocity.... some suppliers downgrade for free if you buy from them (GZ and combat south for two) Considering my shoei mp44 cost over a grand, the ultima mp44 was over 500 quid and wasn't great, be glad there is a new cheap(ish) ww2 weapon around..... 20 quid for a downgrade is 10% of the price. If it was a marui you would be spending a lot more than that just to get it to perform adequately. CHILL . If a retailer has a bad attitude (and some do) - take it up with them...or buy from someone else....
OK, I'll mention it no more. Thought it might be of interest to those wanting a skirmishable weapon out of the box, which it isn't. If people are happy to buy something needing drastic surgery to be able to use it, good luck to them ![]()

I wouldn't say spring replacement/amendment was drastic surgery - lots of airsofter's takedown and replace parts as soon as they get a new weapon, whether its TM, Clone or other manufacturer. Even before they have used it in a game

Really? both of mine are totally stock and firing at around 320-330fps.

As was mine ![]()

Would you expect to have to strip a cars engine before you could drive it legally on the roads ![]()
Anyway, I'm still getting one, but it'll be from somewhere willing to downgrade it for me to take the guesswork out of it.
And that reminds me, the Chinese battery will be rubbish so I must order a new one as I don't have any stick ones in my pile of batts!
Actually, the battery is not bad!! Every other China gun I've ever had has had a battery made of used hankies and chewing gum, but this one's actually a decent battery!! Will still be buying others, but at least it's a useable spare. ![]()

Actually, the battery is not bad!
Noted! I had to buy one though as I'll need a spare. I do have one somewhere but as that is in an MP5 that hasn't been use for five years I expect it's gone the way of the Dodo.

Prob not. While the space is oversized for a stick, it'd prob be too tight for a mini. Lipo's on the other hand.....![]()
EDIT: Just checked, and no, mini's won't fit.

Very nice dude, VERY nice!!!

Does the fire selector work, or does semi full & safe work off the lever just above the trigger guard?

The fire selector works, but has a linear action, and is just above the hand grip. I believe the real thing was a rotary switch?

On the real steel, the lever above the pistol grip is the Fire/Safe selector. Semi or full auto was achieved by pressing the round knurled button just above and to the right of the lever. It shows up quite nicely in your picture taken with a flash.
Looks really good though, my long haired general has put a curb on my airsoft expenditure for a while so I will just have to wait a bit for mine
Thanks

Ah!! I see what you mean now. In that case, no, it does nothing. Safe, semi and full auto are all off the one switch.

Well, like you said, you expect LWA to do what they say they will, and it seems they have.

Dude, that looks f*cking AWSOME.

Wish i hadn't seen how much nicer that has come up with a bit of weathering
How can I justify buying one of these to the wife. Really, really want one now.
Pricless!
Sorry, I misunderstood. Ghost MacRoth is right.
Lol, no need to be so formal, you can call me Ghost. Or Mr MacRoth if you feel more comfortable.
And when you know me better, you can call me c*nt, like everyone else does. ![]()
